Melissa, the owner, is fantastic and the salon is so cute. I live in Chicago and it's almost impossible to find a decent hair salon without crazy prices. When I come to my hometown of Wausau to visit my parents, I get my hair done by Melissa. The first time I went to Melissa, my hair was in disastrous shape. It had been poorly colored so many times that it was starting to become a black steel color. I needed to have the color stripped and wanted a medium redish brown color put in. She did an AMAZING job! I love how my hair turned out. Usually, I don't like having conversations when I have my hair done, but Melissa is so personable that the conversation was organic. She is extremely helpful and has excellent customer service. Also, she offers you tea and coffee....BONUS! I had never had my eyebrows waxed before and she offered to do it for me....they looked awesome! Since my first visit, I returned a second time to get my hair cut, and the experience was equally as good. I would highly recommend this salon.
